Sept. 29-Oct. 5: “Unreality”

“. . . hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?” (I Corinthians 1:20)

This Bible Lesson, following one week after the lesson on “Reality,” gives us another opportunity to experience the healing freedom that comes from seeing through the false material picture of life based on matter, and instead understanding that God, Spirit, is All, in all.

“Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding? (Isaiah 29:16)

“The dream that matter and error are something must yield to reason and revelation. Then mortals will behold the nothingness of sickness and sin, and sin and sickness will disappear from consciousness. The harmonious will appear real, and the inharmonious unreal.” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 347:26-31)

The weekly Bible Lesson is read and studied daily by students of Christian Science the world over. You can also listen live and replay the Sunday church service and Wednesday testimony meeting held at The Mother Church of Christian Science, in Boston, MA.  Click here to access those services, or call 425-999-4511 to access an audio version of the Bible Lesson and many other Christian Science resources
