All thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great
shall be the peace of thy children.” – Isaiah 54:13
Along with the full re-opening of our Bellingham church services, our Sunday school and Reading Room, which had been suspended over the past year to respect Washington State’s Covid-19 guidance are fully opened, and ready to welcome you.
In the Sunday School:
State guidelines consider our Sunday School a “school” area and therefore anyone attending Sunday School, or in the presence of our Sunday School students, is required to wear a mask.
Your children are welcome to join us at Sunday School, as follows:
10:00 a.m. – One hour
Many children and young people today face numerous challenges, from competition, bullying or relationship problems, to exposure to drug use, gangs, crime, poverty and other dilemmas.
In our Sunday School, students up to age 20 engage in lively and interesting discussions, learning how to apply God’s love and power to the challenges they face today. Discussions of Bible stories in the weekly Bible-Lesson Sermon, and in the life and work of Jesus Christ, provide vivid examples of how anyone, at any age, can rely on their understanding of God to meet their everyday needs.
Childcare (during Sunday services and Wednesday meetings)
” …whoso shall receive one such little child in
my name receiveth me.” – Matthew 18:5
Childcare is always provided in our children’s room on Sunday and Wednesday for those too young to attend church services or Sunday School
In the Child Care Room:
State guidelines provide that while very young children should NOT wear masks, adult attendants in the Nursery are required to wear masks.
