Sept. 1-7: “Man”

“. . . unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.. . . Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:” (Ephesians 4:7, 13)

This inspiring Bible Lesson presents us with the opportunity to grasp the true, eternal, powerful blessing of claiming our heritage as the full, complete spiritual expression of God, Divine Truth, Life, Love.

“. . . they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you… For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” (Romans 8:8, 9, 14)

“Searching for the origin of man, who is the reflection of God, is like inquiring into the origin of God, the self-existent and eternal.

“We lose our standard of perfection and set aside the proper conception of Deity, when we admit that the perfect is the author of aught that can become imperfect, that God bestows the power to sin, or that Truth confers the ability to err.” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 555:16-18, 23-27)

The weekly Bible Lesson is read and studied daily by students of Christian Science the world over.
