Feb. 9-15: “Soul”

“. . . O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.” (Psalms 104:1)

This Bible Lesson considers God, the Creator of All, by referral to the synonym of Soul (comfort, compassion, tenderness, creativity and so much more). And then reveals through the teachings of the prophets and Christ, Jesus, the all-powerful, ever-loving, ever-embracing presence of Divine Love, Soul.

“For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.” (Psalms 84:11)

“Soul is the substance, Life, and intelligence of man, which is individualized, but not in matter. Soul can never reflect anything inferior to Spirit.” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 477:22)

The weekly Bible Lesson is read and studied daily by students of Christian Science the world over.
