Jan. 6-12: “Sacrament.”
Golden Text: “Give under the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.” (I Chronicles 16:29)
This inspiring Bible Lesson reveals man’s identity as the inseparable, inalterable, ongoing reflection of Spirit, God, Divine Mind. It shows us that we can better experience this relationship, not through rituals, but through deep, prayerful love and recognition of God’s creation, everywhere.
“O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.” (Psalms 95: 6)
“O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.” (I Chronicles 16: 34)
“We worship spiritually, only as we cease to worship materially. Spiritual devoutness is the soul of Christianity. Worshipping through the medium of matter is paganism.” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 140: 16-19.)
You and your family are also welcome to join us at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, where you can hear this powerful lesson read, along with hymns and a sacred solo.
