Nov. 19-25: “Soul and Body.”
Golden Text: “God that made the world and all things therein, seen that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things:” (Acts 17:24, 25.)
This Bible Lesson provides powerful insights into our identity as reflections of God, Soul, Spirit, and not material beings, defined by a physical body. It opens our eyes to the unlimited, joy-filled possibilities of life, when our true identity is understood.
“One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.” (Psalms 27:4)
“Identity is the reflection of Spirit, the reflection in multifarious forms of the living Principle, Love. Soul is the substance, Life and intelligence of man, which is individualized, but not in matter. Soul can never reflect anything inferior to Spirit.
“Man is the expression of Soul.” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 477: 19-26.)
