Sept. 30-Oct. 6: “Unreality.”
Golden Text: “We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.” (Ephesians 4:14)
This Bible Lesson helps us distinguish between the false claims of error, the belief in a power other than God, Good — by discerning more clearly the blessings of God’s great love for mankind and all creation.
“I know that, whatsoever God doth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it:” (Ecclesiastes 3:14)
“…the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.” (James 3:17, 18)
“Everything good or worthy, God made. Whatever is valueless or baneful, He did not make, — hence its unreality.” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 525:20-22.)
