Golden Text: “…I give myself unto prayer.” (Psalms 109:4)
How would our lives be changed, if we always put prayer first? If prayer was part of our rising every morning, our studies, work, or activities every day, our interactions with every other person?
This Bible Lesson answers this question, with great insight and inspiration. And shows us how to do this.
“…when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou has shut the door, pray to they Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.” (Matthew 6:6)
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6)
“Are we benefited by praying? Yes, the desire which goes forth hungering after righteousness is blessed of our Father, and it does not return unto us void.” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, p 1:2-4.)
